The premium Lightning Lane Premier Pass continues to be a popular purchase for guests visiting the Magic Kingdom. Despite its high price, Premier Pass has sold out in all but one day during the month of March. The pass is sold out through March 20th as of the date of this article.
The cost for Lightning Lane Premier Pass at the Magic Kingdom has ranged between $399 and $449 during the March sellout streak.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows guests to use the Lightning Lane for every available attraction one time during the day. Premier Pass holders can choose their arrival time for each attraction, which is a big perk compared to the confined (and often annoying) time slots in Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
It’s worth noting that Premier Pass hasn’t been quite as popular at the other Walt Disney World parks. We have seen it sellout at Disney’s Hollywood Studios throughout March, but the pass has been steadily available at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. That’s not too surprising given the number of attractions at these parks compared to the Magic Kingdom.
Disney hasn’t revealed how many Premier Passes are available on any given day. However, it’s clear that they still haven’t hit the ceiling for what guests are willing to pay to reduce wait times.
