Video: The Magic Kingdom transforms from Halloween to Christmas in one night

Updated:

The Magic Kingdom’s transformation from the Halloween season to the Christmas holiday season is one of those true examples of Disney magic. One day guests are met with pumpkins and the next they’re greeted with garland and Christmas trees.

Switching seasons at the Magic Kingdom is a big undertaking that requires a ton of cast members and coordination. The time-lapse video below highlights some of what it takes to change seasons at the Magic Kingdom.

We love these behind-the-scenes videos. Seeing the Magic Kingdom switch from Halloween to Christmas in a night is amazing, but seeing what it takes to pull that off is incredible. The coordination to bring in the crane, lifts and cast members to make this possible is quite the achievement.
