Magic Kingdom’s ‘Disney Starlight’ Times and New Nighttime Schedule Revealed

Updated:

Magic Kingdom nights are going to be packed with entertainment this summer. Disney has revealed that their new parade, Disney Starlight, will run twice each night beginning on July 20, 2025. The parade will run at 9pm and 11pm, with the Happily Ever After fireworks show sandwiched between at 10pm. Disney Starlight will not run on nights with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween parties.

Disney Starlight’s floats will begin on Main Street USA and travel towards Frontierland for each performance. Disney says this will allow for better guest flow at the end of the night. The Magic Kingdom is then scheduled to close at 11pm as the second performance of Disney Starlight winds its way through the park.

Rejoice, late-night Magic Kingdom fans! We’ve been sad to see the park close so early when years ago it’d routinely stay open late. This is a big step in the right direction. With a bit of planning and crowd navigating, guests can close their Magic Kingdom day with two parades and a fireworks show – one incredible way to end a day.

It will be interesting to see how the Magic Kingdom’s operations team handles the crowds once Disney Starlight debuts. While the park routinely held multiple nighttime parades each night years ago, the current Magic Kingdom cast members haven’t. Be prepared for a learning process.
