Walt Disney World Resort will once again be home to several festivities and events for the holidays. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is no exception, with the return of the ‘Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!’ projection/fireworks show and ‘Sunset Seasons Greetings’ near the Tower of Terror. The newest land at Disney World, Toy Story Land, will also join in the holiday fun.
The Disney Parks Blog recently announced that the Alien Swirling Saucers attraction will feature holiday songs. Now, it sounds like the holiday fun in Toy Story Land may be a bit more extensive than originally announced.
WDWInfo reports that there are now plans to decorate the life-size toy figures and add some other holiday decorations around the land. Disney hasn’t confirmed additional holiday decorations are coming, but this report/rumor seems fairly plausible.
Toy Story Land already has some theming that would work for the holidays. A large chunk of the lighting used in Toy Story Land already looks like oversized Christmas lights, fitting into any kind of holiday theme Disney plans to roll out. Some additional holiday touches would be easy to implement and would bring some additional sparkle to the newest land.
