You can now take a Minnie Van from Disney World to Port Canaveral

Updated:

The Minnie Van transportation service continues to expand. Following months of rumors, it has been confirmed that you can now take a Minnie Van from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral.

Guests can book the Minnie Van service through Disney Cruise Line usingย Embarkation Services. The one-way trip will reportedly cost guests $240.

The Disney Cruise Line Blog reports that the Minnie Vans assigned for trips between Disney World and Port Canaveral can accommodate up to six passengers and luggage.

By comparison, guests are still able to book the transfer service that shuttles guests between Disney World and Port Canaveral at a cost of $35 per guest, per leg of the trip. We personally used this service for a cruise and found it to be extremely convenient. We were picked up at our resort, brought to our cruise and then returned to a different resort after our cruise was over. Everything moved smoothly and the overall price seemed fair.

The Minnie Van service isn’t designed to replace the current transfer service that is available for cruise guests, but it is an alternative option for guests who want more flexibility and are willing to pay a premium.
