Walt Disney World rolled out a ton of new menu items in honor if its 50th anniversary. One of those items is the EARidescent Sip-a-bration, which is the non-alcoholic specialty drink Disney will serve throughout the anniversary celebration.

You can find the EARidescent Sip-a-bration all over Walt Disney World’s theme parks and resorts. We decided to give it a shot while walking around Disney’s BoardWalk.
It’s immediately obvious that the souvenir cup is a small plastic cup. It’s much smaller than an average drinking glass. The characters and icons on the cup are fun, but it’s a bit of a stretch to call it a souvenir.
Note that the photo above was the drink as we received it before taking a drink. Not the fullest of pours. And this was before Disney’s CFO made comments about shrinking portion sizes!
We did enjoy that you receive one of four characters with your lemonade. We received Minnie, but guests could also see Mickey, Donald and Pluto. The character – which is straight sugar and flavoring – is what gives the EARidescent Sip-a-bration its unique taste, and changes the standard lemonade into something more fun.
Mix in the character as best you can and your lemonade will change color and flavor. Instead of traditional Minute Maid Lemonade, the drink becomes more fruity with a hint of strawberry/raspberry. It’s tasty!
Ultimately, while we thought the drink was very good and refreshing, we can’t give it a glowing review because of its $10 price. Ten bucks for a small cup of flavored lemonade isn’t the best value. The souvenir plastic cup can be nice if you’re desperate for something with the 50th logo on it, but we think there’s far better souvenirs out there.
We recommend skipping the EARidescent Sip-a-bration at its current price.
