Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is officially underway at the Magic Kingdom. That means that the Holiday Wishes Fireworks Show is back once again to light up the sky over Cinderella Castle.

This is a great fireworks show. Like the Happy Hallowishes Fireworks Show, there’s a great combination of music and colorful pyrotechnics. They also use the special perimeter launching locations to surround guests with a 180-degree view of fireworks. You haven’t really seen a Magic Kingdom fireworks show until you’ve experience the perimeter fireworks. They’re awesome.
However, we are a bit surprised that Disney hasn’t added or upgraded the projections during their holiday fireworks shows. The addition of Happily Ever After, the normal nightly fireworks show, has raised the bar for what’s happening on and around the castle. It’d be a lot of fun to see that technology brought over to the holiday shows.
