Video: Torrential Rain Floods Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Yacht Club Resort

Updated:

Heavy rain transformed Disney’s Hollywood Studios into a water park tonight. Hollywood Boulevard, the main road in the center of the park, flooded and guests were left walking through ankle and even shin-deep water.

Paging Mr. Morrow posted a great look at the craziness on TikTok.

We’ve seen some wild floods at Walt Disney World in the past. Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom is notoriously prone to flooding even in smaller storms. But, we can’t remember a time where Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been this flooded.

Real waves were even spotted at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! Now that’s theming.

Epcot also had its fair share of flooding.

Guests will be talking about getting caught in this Disney flood for years to come. It’s one of those wild and unforgettable moments. It’s also great to see guests making the most of it and splashing around Hollywood Boulevard. Why not dance in the rain on vacation?
