Video: Pipe bursts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Updated:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios became quite the chaotic scene when a large pipe burst near the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. The broken pipe created a rather impressive geyser that captured the attention of curious guests and became the subject of a ton of jokes.

The geyser started off relatively contained with muddy, brown water.

It didn’t take long for it to become a huge flume of water that reached some crazy heights. Cast members tried their best to keep guests out of the area, but onlookers were mesmerized by the bizarre scene.

As you might imagine, the internet community was quick to make jokes about Hollywood Studios finally having a water ride. Some suggested the old Catastrophe Canyon was making a comeback.

An exact cause of the break hasn’t been released, but it is believed to have been caused by construction in the area for a new beverage kiosk that will live near the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.
