There’s something new – and big – coming to Animal Kingdom’s land of Pandora. The video below teases the emergence of a mech suit, or a robotic suit, that will be seen in some sort of capacity within Pandora.
Thematically, Alpha Centauri Expeditions, the eco tour group that brings visitors to Pandora, have repurposed the equipment originally used by the Resources Development Administration (RDA) to mine and drill for resources. The mech suit shown above was originally used for combat, but has likely been used now to build the new labs and help restore Pandora to its original form.
In more practical terms, it’s likely that the mech suit will serve as a photo opp for guests in the land, though nothing has been officially announced or confirmed.
The movement and appearance of the suit is pretty impressive. Visually, it’s similar in appearance to the mech suit that can be seen just beyond the exit of the gift shop near the exit of Flight of Passage.
