Live actors have joined the Pirates of the Caribbean ride as one of the new additions for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Now that the parties have started, we now know that there are two actors in the queue for the ride and one within the ride itself. The actors in the queue (one in the prison and one near the loading dock) talk about the hunt for Gunpowder Pete. On the ride itself, Gunpowder Pete is interacting with guests on one of the overhead bridges.
This is a fun addition that makes the Halloween festivities at the Magic Kingdom a bit extra special. Some guests may wish Disney did a bit more, perhaps something more similar to the overlays seen at Disneyland, but at least it’s something interactive and a bit different.
