Video: ‘Avengers: Quantum Encounter’ at Worlds of Marvel restaurant on the Disney Wish

Updated:

Disney has revealed some new information on the Marvel fun that will take place on the Disney Wish. Inside Worlds of Marvel restaurant, guests will experience ‘Avengers: Quantum Encounter’ with Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Disney’s full description on ‘Avengers: Quantum Encounter’:

โ€œAvengers: Quantum Encounterโ€ will follow Ant-Man and The Wasp as they embark on their first public speaking engagement on behalf of the Avengers. They are hosting a special presentation of the most powerful Super Hero technologies โ€” such as Captain Americaโ€™s shield, Iron Manโ€™s arc reactor and Ant-Manโ€™s Pym Particles โ€” giving the audience an up-close look at holographic models, field reports and iconic scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe displayed on the screens surrounding the room.

It sounds like the real star of the show here is the Quantum Core, a device that allows guests to shrink and expand items. This interactive element will “change” items and even alter the restaurant when enough have been activated.

Every table at Worlds of Marvel will feature its own Quantum Core, โ€œa brand-new device that can cause objects to shrink and grow remotely.โ€ During dinner, you will assist Ant-Man and The Wasp as they attempt some small-scale trials, perhaps shrinking oversized luggage for easy stateroom storage. I wonder who overpackedโ€ฆ those super suits probably take up a lot of space!

When enough of the Quantum Cores are activated at the same time, the entire venue will become supercharged as energy pulses through the power channels in the walls and ceiling.

Let’s not forget about the food. Worlds of Marvel will have a wide variety of menu items inspired by African Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia and the Avengers’ home of New York City.

Look for more information on the Disney Wish to be released soon.
