Construction equipment for the new TRON coaster that’s coming to the Magic Kingdom may now be seen from inside the park. Recent photos show that large equipment is now rising up over the trees near the Tomorrowland Speedway.
The photo above from @bioreconstruct shows the view of the equipment near the railroad tracks while the photo below shows the angle from inside Storybook Circus.

Based on the aerial photos of the TRON location taken back in October, it’s likely that the equipment is for additional foundation work. Progress on the site has been relatively slow compared to some of the other projects taking shape around Walt Disney World.
As a reminder, the walkway that connects Tomorrowland with Storybook Circus behind the Tomorrowland Speedway will close in the near future for TRON construction. The Speedway itself will close for an estimated five months in 2019 during construction.
The TRON coaster is expected to open by 2021.
