Tomorrowland PeopleMover refurbishment extended yet again

Updated:

The Tomorrowland PeopleMover’s refurbishment schedule has been extended once again at the Magic Kingdom. Disney’s official calendar now shows the attraction under refurbishment through at least February 28, 2021.

This is the latest of multiple delays that have kept the Tomorrowland PeopleMover closed since the Magic Kingdom reopened in July 2020.

While Disney has not commented on the delays, it’s believed work has been focused on the PeopleMover’s motors. Ride vehicles have been seen moving on the track multiple times in recent months, including this past week, but a reopening date hasn’t been announced.

As always, the new date on the calendar is subject to change. Disney has pushed back the date time and time again as they continue to work on this beloved attraction.
