The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is now officially listed as “Temporarily Unavailable”

One of the most iconic rides at the Magic Kingdom will remain closed for the foreseeable future. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is now officially listed as “Temporarily Unavailable” on the Walt Disney World website.

Below is a screenshot from the attraction’s page.

The PeopleMover has remained closed to guests ever since the Magic Kingdom reopened earlier this month. Disney has not provided an official reason as to why the attraction is not operating.

Rumors have suggested there may be a motor issue that requires multiple parts to be replaced. Unfortunately, the current climate may have slowed Disney’s ability to secure those parts, prolonging the PeopleMover’s temporary closure. As soon as Disney receives those parts, they’ll still have to install them resulting in the attraction remaining closed for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully guests will be able to once again enjoy a leisurely tour of Tomorrowland in the near future.
