The Magic Kingdom’s Early Morning Magic tickets will include more attractions, but cost more

Updated:

The Magic Kingdom’s Early Morning Magic experience is changing. Beginning in December 2018, the Early Morning Magic tickets will include more attractions, but they will also cost guests more money.

Early Morning Magic tickets give guests an opportunity to go onย Fantasyland attractions before the park is open to normal guests. The tickets also include a breakfast buffet.

Below is a comparison of the new offering versus the old offering.

Ticket Prices

Price beginning December 2018
$79 per adult, $69 per child

Old price through November 2018
$69 per adult, $59 per child

Hours

The Early Morning Magic hours will remain 7:45am to 10am. Breakfast is available from 8am to 10am.

Old list of open attractions
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Peter Panโ€™s Flight!

Food

Breakfast is currently served at Pinocchio Village Haus, but this will be changing toย Cosmic Rayโ€™s Starlight Cafรฉ.

The menus are very similar outside of a few changes.

NEW Menu
Scrambled eggs
Smoked bacon
Sausage
Breakfast potatoes
Pancakes
Freshly baked pastries
Cheese and cured meats
Seasonal fruit
Oatmeal
Granola
Yogurt
Assorted juices
Coffee and teas

OLD Menu
Scrambled eggs with assorted toppings
Vegetable frittata
Smoked bacon
Pork and chicken sausages
Fried potatoes with caramelized onions
French toast
Freshly baked pastries
Cheese and cured meats
Seasonal fruit and berries
Assorted yogurts
Chilled juices, coffee and teas

While the menus are similar, it’s worth noting the new selection apparently won’t include French Toast or the Vegetable Frittata.

How will this change the experience?

For a $10 per person increase, you’ll be able to experience twice as many Fantasyland attractions. However, it’s very likely that more tickets for this event will be sold now that more attractions will be open and breakfast will be served in a larger location.

Previously, guests reported that the Early Morning Magic tickets were a good value due to the ability to ride some of their favorite rides without a wait before picking up breakfast. The smart strategy was to hit the rides as many times as possible before the park opened at 9am, and then hitting breakfast until the 10am window closed.

We’ll have to wait and see how these changes alter the experience.
