The Liberty Square Riverboat is back at the Magic Kingdom, but not open yet

Updated:

The Liberty Square Riverboat has finally returned to the Magic Kingdom. Though the Riverboat isn’t open to guests as of the end of November 2018, the boat is back in its normal docking location in Liberty Square near the Haunted Mansion.

Thanks to @templar_96 for snapping a great photo of the boat’s glorious return.

A variety of refurbishment projects have taken place since the Riverboat left its dock in January 2018. The boat itself had several maintenance projects performed and a portion of the Rivers of America was drained to allow for work on the track. Unfortunately, the project was extended multiple times over the past year.

An official reopening is expected in December 2018.
