A modified version of the International Flower & Garden Festival will return to Epcot on March 3, 2021. The Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will run March 3 – July 5, 2021 and will once again feature character topiaries and delicious food from outdoor kitchens.
Disney’s announcement states that many familiar topiaries will return, including Mickey, Donald, Remy, Anna, Elsa, Lady & the Tramp, Figment and more.
“Our Disney Horticulture team is busy planting, pruning and planning now for the kaleidoscope of bright blooms and floating gardens scattered throughout EPCOT, with each one making a perfect backdrop for family photos.”
Disney also announced that more than 20 outdoor kitchens will serve up a variety of tasty food and beverages for guests to enjoy. Activities and events that don’t allow for social distancing, such as the Garden Rocks Concert Series and hands-on gardening demonstrations, are not expected to return.
The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run considerably longer than its 2020 and 2019 editions. The 2020 festival was held between March 4 and June 1, 2020 while the 2019 festival ran for 90 days between March 6 and June 3, 2019.
