Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is receiving a significant update at both Disney World and Disneyland. Beginning May 22, 2026, guests will go on a new adventure alongside the Mandalorian and Grogu. Besides the story update, Smugglers Run will adopt a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ angle and a brand new role for guests in the Engineers role.
The new ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ aspect of Smugglers Run will allow guests to select where they’ll go on their journey – Bespin, Endor, or Coruscant. The adventure takes off from Batuu before heading to Tattoine. Then, guests will pick their next destination and control their destiny. Sounds kind of like the old ending to the Horizons attraction at EPCOT, doesn’t it?
Meanwhile, the Engineering role on Smugglers Run will take on a very important new responsibility. Guests in this role will be interacting with and caring for Grogu. That’s right, it’s time to brush up on your galactic babysitting skills.
Smugglers Run will be updated May 22, 2026 at both Disneyland and Hollywood Studios to coincide with the film premier of The Mandalorian and Grogu.
