Select character sighting locations are joining the Disney Genie+ service at Walt Disney World. Four character sightings will allow guests to bypass the normal standby line when purchasing the Disney Genie+ service.
Beginning January 26, 2022, the following locations will be offered in Genie+.
- Mickey at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom
- Cinderella and a Visiting Princess at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom
- Princess Tiana and a Visiting Princess at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom
- Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
This change is mostly a positive one for Genie+ purchasers as it provides more options under the current price. However, this may lead to increased standby wait times for guests who have not purchased Genie+.
Guests should be aware that Genie+ will continue to evolve as Disney tinkers with their latest product.
