The pace of construction appears to have sped up on the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction at Epcot. Rock work sculptures are quickly taking shape, giving us a first impression of what the completed walk-through attraction will look like.
The always great @bioreconstruct captured a couple pictures of the new rock work surrounded by scaffolding.

To date, it’s been difficult to picture what the finished Journey of Water walk-through attraction will look like. Disney has only released one piece of concept art and described it as a water maze where “guests interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.”
There’s no question that construction is seemingly speeding up on the Journey of Water. The same can be said over at TRON Lightcycle Run in the Magic Kingdom. Disney appears to be ramping up their current projects, which is a welcome change.
We’re still not completely sure what the finished Journey of Water area will look like, but we’d imagine Disney will release more details as they hit new construction milestones.
