The Disney Genie service is officially live within the My Disney Experience app. Guests wasted little time upgrading to Disney Genie+ for Lightning Lane access and purchasing Individual Attraction passes.
Rise of the Resistance is the most popular attraction at Walt Disney World and quickly sold out of its Individual Attraction passes around 10am. Guests paid $15 per person to book a return time and avoid a lengthy wait.
Disney resort guests were first able to book the Individual Attraction pass for Rise of the Resistance at 7am. Return times vanished quickly despite the $15 price tag. Additional inventory for Rise of the Resistance appeared at 9am, which is likely meant for non-resort guests, but this too disappeared quickly.
At park open for MK and DHS, additional Individual Lightning Lane times for Mine Train and Rise of the Resistance opened up. Seems to suggest they are saving inventory for non-resort guests.
If this stays the same, I’m not sure the 7am resort early booking “perk” is a perk.

Shortly before 10am, all Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane passes were listed as sold out for the day. It doesn’t appear any additional inventory will be added after the second wave at park opening.
The wait times for Rise of the Resistance hovered around 100-120 minutes, which had to make Lightning Lane users feel better about their purchase.
