Pixar Day at Sea Coming to Disney Cruise Line

Updated:

Disney Cruise Line will introduce new Pixar themed sailings beginning in early 2023. The Disney Fantasy will host Pixar Day at Sea on nine select Caribbean voyages in January through March 2023.

The Pixar Day at Sea will take the place of Star Wars Day at Sea on the Disney Fantasy. Guests sailing during a Pixar Day at Sea itinerary will have unique character encounters with Pixar favorites, special entertainment and more.

Here are the highlights from Disney’s announcement.

Characters

Guests will be able to interact with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, Mike, Sulley, Boo, Joy, Sadness, Dug, Russell, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone during Pixar Day at Sea.

Entertainment

There will be a new nighttime spectacular where the Incredibles are asked to save the day. This sounds like a stage show on the top deck as fireworks are not specifically mentioned. Fingers crossed there’s fireworks too!

A new theatrical experience will bring Coco to Disney Cruise Line for the very first time. This story of Miguel will come to life with music and puppets.

A dance party will be held with characters from a variety of Pixar films.

Dining

A new breakfast experience will allow guests to eat with Woody, Jesse and Bullseye. Get ready for cowboy sing-a-longs to start your day at sea.

Pixar-themed dishes will be served at dinner, with inspiration coming from Pixar’s California HQ.
