Extended Evening Theme Park Hours Continue in 2023 for Select Disney World Hotel Guests

Walt Disney World is continuing its Extended Evening Theme Park Hours perk into 2023 for select resort guests. The benefit, which is only available for guests staying at deluxe Disney resorts and select other hotels, provides two extra hours in the parks after they close to the general public.

Eligible hotels include all Disney deluxe resorts, villas and select hotels such as the Swan, Dolphin and Shades of Green. Click here for a full list of the eligible Extended Evening Theme Park hotels.

To date, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours have been primarily offered at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has offered the perk only a couple times since its inception. Eligible guests are able to enjoy the parks on these select nights with reduced waits for attractions.

Here’s a view of our ride on Big Thunder Mountain during a visit to Magic Kingdom’s Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.

Empty train on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

We were able to experience of ton of attractions with minimal-to-zero waits during the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at Magic Kingdom. There’s a lot of bang for the buck here, and we’d recommend guests should consider the cost to upgrade hotels if attractions are a priority.
