Epcot’s new quick-service restaurant, Connections Café and Eatery, is almost ready to welcome guests. Today, Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley shared a look at the first marquee signage installed for the restaurant and provided an updated opening timeline.
Riddley’s Instagram post shows the first Connections Café sign and how it uses the same font as the nearby Creations Shop signs. He also mentions the new restaurant will open in Spring 2022.

Riddley briefly touches on what guests should expect when Connections Cafe finally opens.
“…this new fast-casual restaurant and adjoining café was inspired by the core EPCOT idea of “connecting”– by the common bond we share over food and the gathering of people across cultures.”
Specific details such as the restaurant’s menu and an exact opening date haven’t been announced.
We’re optimistic Connections Cafe will offer a wider, more dynamic menu than its predecessor, the Electric Umbrella. But, it’s also possible Connections Cafe will offer the usual theme park staples (burgers, chicken tenders) while World Showcase remains home more adventurous food items.
