The Disney Wish ran into some problems during its current 3-night voyage to Nassau and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay. The ship had an “unexpected mechanical issue” and as a result remained docked at Nassau into the night.
Disney informed guests about the situation with an onboard announcement and a notification through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Disney Cruise Line rarely stays at ports late into the night. That makes the sight of the Disney Wish docked at Nassau a pretty rare one. Below is a screenshot of the Port Nassau Webcam at 2:00am Nassau time.
The Disney Wish was originally late arriving and docking at Nassau. Reports have stated the ship may have had engine issues while sailing into Nassau, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.
The Disney Wish was scheduled to sail to Disney’s island Castaway Cay on April 30, but guests were informed that weather would prevent the ship from making the voyage. In the same notice, Disney offered each stateroom a $100 onboard credit and 20% off a future three, four, or seven-night cruise.
