Disney Skyliner testing continues near Epcot

The Disney Skyliner continues to run tests ahead of its scheduled opening later this year. More testing was recently spotted near Epcot at the International Gateway station that will connect the theme park to four resorts and Hollywood Studios.

The testing pictured below comes just a few days after Disney cast members were seen training at the station near Hollywood Studios.

It’s safe to say that the area around the International Gateway will never look the same again. The addition of the Disney Skyliner has led to a massive overhaul of the International Gateway, including the demolition of the old bag check and entrance areas.

The movement and color of the Disney Skyliner cabins will completely alter the look and feel of the International Gateway, transforming the old quiet area into one that will come alive when the new transportation system is active. That being said, the convenience of the Disney Skyliner system will make any changes to the International Gateway worthwhile.
