Disney Skyliner station progressing at Hollywood Studios

Work is continuing to progress around Walt Disney World on the new Disney Skyliner transportation system that will connect Epcot, Hollywood Studios and a few Disney resorts. Support towers for the Disney Skyliner have been popping up, and now we have a better view of the work on the station that will sit just outside Hollywood Studios.

Courtesy of @bioreconstruct, the support towers are in place leading up to the Hollywood Studios station, and the station itself is starting to take shape.

And here’s another view from a different angle:

Based on the speed of the progress taking place both on the stations and the towers, it seems like the new transportation system could be open as early as this year. However, most reports suggest the Disney Skyliner will open in 2019 despite the work currently moving along at a solid rate.
