Disney’s Hollywood Studios has repeatedly opened ahead of its scheduled opening time due to the immense popularity for the new Rise of the Resistance attraction in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. In an effort to accommodate guests who are trying to arrive to the theme park bright and early, Disney is expanding the operating times for the Disney Skyliner and its Minnie Vans.
Beginning December 13 and running through December 21, all lines of the Disney Skyliner will operate from 6:45am to 10:30pm. Minnie Vans will operate beginning at 5am during that same period.
Securing a virtual boarding pass to experience Rise of the Resistance hasn’t been easy. Huge crowds have resulted in Disney opening Hollywood Studios ahead of its scheduled opening time. Once guests are in the park, it’s not long before all of the virtual boarding passes are claimed and late-arriving guests are unable to experience the attraction.
This scheduling change for the Disney Skyliner and Minnie Vans should assist guests trying to arrive early to grab a boarding pass, but it still may not be early enough to guarantee a ride on Rise of the Resistance.
