To say Disney fans are chomping at the bit to return to Walt Disney World would be an understatement. As the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts sit closed with no reopening date in sight, Disney has emailed its annual passholders with a warm message about the future.

Meanwhile, Disney has started issuing refunds and has frozen monthly payments for Walt Disney World annual passholders. Guests have the option of taking a refund or extending their pass by however many days the parks are closed.
It’s worth noting that the Walt Disney World website may currently show that your passes have expired even if they haven’t, but that will be addressed when a reopening date has been announced. Personally, both of our passes say they have expired even though we renewed before the parks and resorts closed.
