‘Disney Enchantment’ nighttime spectacular will debut October 1, 2021 at Magic Kingdom

A new nighttime spectacular is coming to Magic Kingdom for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary! Disney Enchantment will debut October 1, 2021 and will feature fireworks, enhanced lighting and brand new projections that will transform Main Street USA.

Below is Disney’s concept art and description for Disney Enchantment from their announcement:

Disney Enchantment Fireworks Show

A new nighttime spectacular, “Disney Enchantment,” will help kick off the 50th anniversary festivities when it debuts Oct. 1 at Magic Kingdom Park. Created to launch with “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” this evening extravaganza will take you on a journey filled with adventure, wonder and empowerment. Inspiring everyone to believe in magic, “Disney Enchantment” will feature music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.

The star of this new show will be the brand new projections taking place down Main Street USA. We’ve seen limited projections on Main Street’s buildings during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but nothing like what Disney has planned in October. The new projections will act as an extension of the projections on Cinderella Castle, allowing guests to enjoy the show without standing in the main hub.

Disney Enchantment will run throughout Walt Disney World’s 18-month celebration of their 50th anniversary.
