Disney Cruise Line will start sailing from the port of New Orleans in 2020. Sailing itineraries to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, the Disney Wonder will set sail six times from New Orleans between February 7, 2020 and March 6, 2020.
The Wonder will also take a special trip to Hawaii for two cruises in 2020. First, a 9-night trip from Vancouver to Honolulu is scheduled for April 29, 2020. Then, a return 10-night trip is scheduled for May 8, 2020.
These announcements come as three new ships are being built for Disney Cruise Line. Expected to debut in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the three new ships should expand Disney’s Caribbean offerings in addition to adding new destinations.
