Cuties are now the Official Citrus Fruit of Walt Disney World

Updated:

Disney has announced that Cuties, the clementine brand, are now the Official Citrus Fruit of Walt Disney World. The new partnership will bring Cuties to numerous food and beverage locations around Disney World, offering an alternative healthy snack.

Beginning this Fall, Cuties will be available at select grab-n-go locations where fruit is sold. They will also be offered as a side for kid’s meals at some quick-service locations.

In addition to Cuties becoming available for guests, Cuties branding will be added to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. No additional information on this has been released, but the branding may be similar to the partnership that brought Babybel signage to Toy Story Land.

Carlos Castro, vice president of Disney Corporate Alliances, spoke about the new partnership.

“Disney Parks works to create magical, unforgettable experiences for families in everything we do. This includes aligning with brands that families know and love. We are happy to be providing Cuties as a healthy food option that the whole family can enjoy.”

Having healthier food options at Disney World is always a welcome addition. Kid’s meals have traditionally had applesauce, carrot sticks, yogurt or apple slices as a side, so it will be nice to have a citrus offering.
