Three dining experiences are returning soon at Walt Disney World. Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and dinner at Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will return in May 2021. Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is scheduled to reopen in Summer 2021.
All three dining experiences will be modified when they return. Let’s talk specifics.
Cape May Café
Cape May Café will reopen at Disney’s Beach Club Resort on May 18, 2021. Unfortunately, Minnie’s Beach Bash Character Breakfast and the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet will not return at reopening. Instead, Cape May Café will feature an all-you-care-to enjoy family-style breakfast menu and a dinner menu that has surf and turf favorites.
Guests can begin making reservations starting on May 7, 2021.
Chef Mickey’s Dinner
Chef Mickey’s will expand its service hours beginning on May 16, 2021. In addition to breakfast, Chef Mickey’s will serve dinner during a modified character experience. Guests can wave to characters while enjoying an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style dinner.

Tusker House Restaurant
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom does not have an official reopening date at this time. The restaurant is listed as returning in Summer 2021 with a modified character experience. Guests will enjoy family-style entrees while seeing Donald Duck and friends move around the restaurant.
More information about Tusker House Restaurant and other reopening dining locations will be announced in the near future.
