Beverage and snack prices increase at Disney World

Updated:

The price to buy a drink or a snack has gone up at Walt Disney World. Several Twitter users have posted about noticing increased prices as of October 2, 2018.

Currently we only have specific examples on a handful of items, but it’s highly likely that these increases extend to more snacks and drinks available around Disney World.

Bottled Water – $3.50 (was $3)

Smartwater – $5.50 (was $4.50)

Regular Soda – $3.99 (was $3.29)

Large Soda – $4.49 (was $3.79)

Bottled Soda – $4.50 (was $4)

Orange Juice – $4.99 (was $4.29)

Pretzel – $7 (was $6)

Some of the increases are pretty significant. These changes come as numerous budget cuts have been made due to a “light” Fall in terms of attendance.

Meanwhile, it’s likely that guests will pay more on average to visit a Disney World theme park after the new date-based ticket pricing rolls out.
