Crews are making quick progress removing the Leave a Legacy monoliths located at the main entrance of Epcot. A couple weeks after construction walls went up around a portion of the Leave a Legacy monoliths, we can now see that some of the stones have been removed.
Several of the large granite stones have been hauled away and work is already underway to remove the foundations.

An aerial photo of the area highlights some of the progress.

The change comes as Disney overhauls the main entrance area at Epcot. While the stones are permanently going away, the photos that were placed on all of the monoliths will be relocated to a new locations just outside of the park’s entrance.
