Update: The new Club Cool is open and Beverly is back!
Epcot’s Club Cool was home to one of the most infamous beverages in all of Walt Disney World – Beverly. Cringing through the bitter beverage, and convincing your friends and family to try it, created some unforgettable memories. Trying Beverly was a right of passage for many Disney guests.
But can you still find Beverly at Walt Disney World now that Club Cool is closed?
Club Cool officially closed in September 2019 as Disney began to transform Epcot’s Future World. Disney originally stated that Club Cool will return in some form or capacity in the future, and then announced a new Club Cool will open in Summer 2021.
As expected, the new Club Cool will have Beverly! It wouldn’t really be Club Cool without that bitter drink. Additional details on the new Club Cool experience haven’t been revealed at this time.
Until then, Beverly lives on. Guests can still find Beverly over at the Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar in Disney Springs. This drink spot offers great views of Disney Springs and a chance to wet your whistle with some bizarre concoctions.
The Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar at Disney Springs serves a variety of different drinks, floats, ICEEs and alcoholic beverages with flavors from around the globe. That includes the infamous Beverly that can be enjoyed in either a tasting flight or something a bit stronger. Unfortunately, free sampling of the flavors is not allowed at this location.
Summarized, Beverly can be found but the joy of tricking someone into trying it as a free taste test is not currently available. Hopefully the new Club Cool will have free samples of everyone’s not-so-favorite beverage.
