A brand new projection show is coming to the exterior of ‘it’s a small world’ to celebrate Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. The show, called Tapestry of Happiness, will be projected on the facade of the attraction each night, and will be an animated mosaic of attractions and moments at Disneyland Park in the style of Mary Blair.
Disney describes Tapestry of Happiness as:
Rediscover 70 years of happy Disneyland moments brought to life by dazzling lights, projection effects and music. This visual love letter to 70 years of unforgettable Disneyland experiences celebrates beloved attractions, cherished moments and the timeless spirit of the Happiest Place on Earth.

The new projection show will feature an original theme song, “Celebrate Happy”, along with new recordings of familiar and iconic Disneyland songs and themes. Disney says the show will play each night, but it’s unclear if it will be played multiple times. The runtime also isn’t known at this time.
We love that a new piece of nighttime entertainment is coming to Disneyland Park. While ‘it’s a small world’ isn’t an original opening day attraction at Disneyland, it is one of the oldest and most iconic rides. The setting is perfect. And, we’ll always enjoy something that pays tribute to the great Mary Blair and her incredible influence on Disney.
The 70th anniversary celebration at Disneyland begins May 16, 2025 and continues through summer 2026.
