Victoria & Albert’s restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort in Walt Disney World has earned a Michelin Star. The distinguished honor was awarded during the 2024 Michelin Guide Ceremony held in Tampa, Florida.
The restaurant is widely considered the best in all of Walt Disney World and one of the best in all of central Florida. Now, Victoria & Albert’s is being recognized for its top quality.
Summarized, Michelin Stars are designed to recognize outstanding cooking. Their guide says that they are based on five key criteria:
- Quality of the ingredients
- Harmony of flavors
- Mastery of the techniques
- Personality of the chef as expressed through their cuisine
- Consistency both across the entire menu and over time
Now that Victoria & Albert’s has earned a coveted Michelin Star, an honor they’ve been pursuing for quite some time, the next challenge is to retain the Star. While new Stars may be awarded each year, Michelin continually reassess existing restaurants with Stars to ensure that high standards are still being met.
Congratulations to the entire team at Victoria & Albert’s!
