Walt Disney World will enhance the Park Reservation System calendar

Changes are coming to Walt Disney World’s Park Reservation System. Starting September 8, 2021, Disney will roll out some changes to the existing theme park reservation calendar.

Details on the enhancements were announced on the page for Walt Disney World’s updated annual passholder program.

In an effort to make the reservation program more seamless, on September 8, 2021, Walt Disney World Resort will introduce an enhanced theme park reservation calendar that shows booked reservations, park availability and blockout dates. All current reservations will be maintained with the ability to make and modify additional new reservations as part of the update.

Let this be a reminder that the theme park reservation system isn’t going away. Disney has said repeatedly that the system is here to stay. Now, they’re enhancing the calendar to make it easier for guests trying to make reservations.
