Walt Disney World has halted the sale of most of its annual passes. The Pirate, Sorcerer and Incredi-Pass are no longer available for new purchases. The Pixie Dust pass, which is the lowest tier of pass available to Florida residents, is the only one still available for purchase.
This change does not impact guests wanting to renew an annual pass.

Currently, this leaves one annual pass option for Florida residents and zero options for non-Florida residents. Guests planning to upgrade their holiday tickets into annual passes, which is a well-discussed strategy, are now out of luck.
When Disney announced their new annual pass system, they mentioned that annual pass could be unavailable for purchase at any given time. They may do this for a variety of reasons, including boosting the sales of single-day tickets and limiting the total number of passholders.
We expect Disney will keep this pause throughout the end of 2021 and resume sales some time in 2022.
