The Cove rises into the Epcot skyline in latest construction update

Updated:

The Cove hotel located near the Swan and Dolphin Resorts is one of few construction projects that has continued to progress at Walt Disney World. The 14-story tower appears to have reached its maximum height, transforming the skyline throughout Epcot and the Epcot Resorts area.

First, let’s take a look at the aerial view of The Cove. Work appears to be focused on the rooftop space, but another notable spot is the pool area that will be elevated above ground level.

And another look at the work taking place on the upper floors.

As you might imagine, the 14-story tower can be spotted in the skyline of several areas around Walt Disney World.

The Cove can be seen quite clearly in the Epcot Resorts area.

This particular photo shows a view from the Boardwalk with The Cove sitting behind Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall.

The Cove has also joined the skyline seen within Epcot.

The Cove can be seen throughout Epcot’s World Showcase, joining the Swan and Dolphin Resorts as theme-breaking reminders of the outside world. Our thematic nitpicking aside, it’s clear The Cove’s upper floors should have an outstanding view of Epcot’s nighttime spectacular.

An opening date was originally expected to take place in early 2021.
