A ride vehicle from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure made a surprise appearance at a recent event for Walt Disney World cast members! The vehicle from the upcoming Epcot attraction is an early preview of what guests will see when the ride officially opens in Summer 2020.
The adorable rat vehicles (rat mobiles?) will “shrink” guests down and take them on an exciting journey through Gusteau’s restaurant.
Pretty cute, right? The vehicles use a local positioning system (LPS) trackless ride technology that will allow them to travel through the various scenes without the traditional tracks or rails. This technology allows for the ride vehicles to move more freely and even “dance” around one another.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open in Epcot’s France pavilion in Summer 2020.
