Self-Service Buffets Returning to Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line has made another round of updates to its health and safety requirements. Beginning April 1, 2022, Disney Cruise Line is relaxing many of its safety regulations for ships embarking from the United States.

Self-service buffets are returning and masks will be optional in most places, including the Walt Disney Theatre. That means guests will once again serve themselves while dining at Cabanas. Port adventures will also return to their traditional format where possible.

The Sail Away Celebration, Pirate Night dance party and non-distanced character encounters remain paused at this time. However, Disney did announce that traditional meet and greets will start returning April 18, 2022.

It’s worth noting that itineraries embarking from other countries may have modified health and safety regulations.
