Walt Disney World annual passholders wasted little time booking up all of the available preview times for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. All of the preview times for Epcot’s first coaster were booked in about 90 minutes from the time the portal went live.
The process to secure a preview time was frustrating for many annual passholders. The link for the portal was activated early and word quickly spread before the official emails even arrived in passholder inboxes. This meant many were met with waits of “more than an hour” immediately after receiving the email.
Guests who were able to secure a preview time were automatically assigned a theme park reservation for Epcot on the day of their preview. This begs the question that if Disney can assign theme park reservations here, why can’t they when guests purchase tickets?
The annual passholder preview period for Cosmic Rewind will be held on May 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 and 21. The ride will officially open on May 27, 2022.
