New Magic Shots at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom celebrate Peter Pan’s anniversary

Updated:

In honor of the 65th anniversary of the animated filmย Peter Pan, there’s a couple new Magic Shot opportunities for guests at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

The first (seen above) is located in Fantasyland and will allow guests to find Peter Pan’s elusive shadow behind them in their photos. The other (seen below) is located on the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Refreshments (the spot with the waffles) and gives guests the opportunity to sport some fairy wings of their own.

The traditional Tinkerbell Magic Shots where Tink sits on your hand are also available on Main Street.

While these photos could be viewed as an initiative to sell more PhotoPass pictures, they are a fun tribute to the film that debuted back in February of 1953. Depending on the popularity of these additions, it’d be nice to see Disney keep these around after the anniversary has passed.
