Workers continue to prepare the area just outside of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot. New landscaping has been added both around the entrance of Epcot’s new coaster and in front of the old Wonders of Life pavilion.
Let’s take a look at what has changed in the area.

Lots of trees and bushes have been added. It’s also worth noting the entrance to the PLAY! pavilion (the old Wonders of Life building) appears to have been moved slightly.
Shifting our view, we have a better look at the front of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. An Xandarian ship will be parked in the center of the triangle based on the released concept art.

We can compare the front of the new indoor coaster with Disney’s concept art.
It looks like Disney is getting ready to open up the space in front of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Though the coaster won’t open until 2022, Disney may want the extra space for the walkways ahead of the busy holiday season.
