New bus stations are now open at Hollywood Studios

Updated:

The brand new bus stations have officially opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The days of guests waiting under umbrellas following a lengthy walk are finally over.

The new bus stations are quite large and are themed to match the original entrance of Hollywood Studios. The complex also includes new restrooms, which is sure to be a welcome addition for many guests.

With the new bus stations open, the next significant change that will come to the entrance area at Hollywood Studios will involve the bag check and security screening area. A new screening area is currently being constructed and is expected to open well in advance of the large crowds for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The aerial photo below shows that the new bus stations sit a bit closer to the main entrance than the temporary ones that required some lengthy walks.

The new bag check area can be seen at the very top of the aerial photo and will move the screening area further away from the touch points. No opening date for the new screening area has been announced at this time.
