Kali River Rapids will close for its annual refurbishment on November 1, 2021. The water attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom traditionally goes down for refurbishment during the cooler winter months each year.
It’s unclear how long Kali River Rapids will be closed. The usual refurbishment period lasts between a few weeks to a couple months. The ride was last closed between January and March earlier this year.
A reopening date hasn’t been announced at this time. It’s possible the ride will be closed a bit longer than usual as a reopening date in the middle of the colder months seems unlikely.
