It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom will notice that Cinderella Castle has already been decorated with a large number of holiday lights.

The holiday lights appearing on Cinderella Castle this early shouldn’t be too big of a surprise considering we also saw them start to go up in September last year. They’ll need to be in place well ahead of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which begins in just about a month on November 8.
Walt Disney World’s holiday calendar has always been a bit peculiar. Where else can you celebrate Halloween in August and start getting ready for Christmas at the very beginning of October?
